WATER AND SEWER RATES
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Rockingham County will hold a public hearing on April 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, pursuant to authority granted in Section 15.2-2119 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, to receive public comment on the following proposed water and sewer rate and connection fee increases to become effective for usage after July 1, 2025:

The average water bill will increase $7.50 based on 5,000 gallons.
Irrigation Meter –
Current: ¾” $750 minimum or actual cost and Above ¾” $750 minimum plus $500 per ¼" in size above ¾" or actual cost
Proposed: Any Size $2,500 minimum or actual cost
