AMENDMENT TO THE LAKE SHENANDOAH
STORMWATER CONTROL AUTHORITY
RATES, FEES AND CHARGES
The Board of the Lake Shenandoah Stormwater Control Authority gives notice that it will hold a public hearing to commence at or after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Rockingham County Administration Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The public hearing is for the purpose of considering the adoption of the following penalty and interest to be charged in the instance of late payment of fees:
There shall be charged a late payment penalty of Ten Percent (10%) on all payments due on June 5th and December 5th, but received after those dates. In addition, beginning January 1st, interest shall be charged at the annual rate of Ten Percent (10%) on all payments that were due on the preceding December 5th; and, beginning July 1st on all payments that were due on the preceding June 5th, interest to be calculated monthly.
All rates, fees and charges previously adopted are not affected by this proposed amendment, and will be reaffirmed and remain in full force and effect.
