Directions: Take Route 257 west, then right on Route 924 past Hone Quarry. Nine acre lake located inside the George Washington National Forest in western Rockingham County. The lake is stocked with trout, channel catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill.

One entrance, located in south western Rockingham County and past scenic views of pasture land, is the gateway to one of the most outstanding viewing spots in the entire forest: High Knob Fire Lookout Tower and Reddish Knob. Grand Caverns is a powerful example of Nature's handiwork. Cathedral Hall, 280 feet long and over 70 feet high, is one of the largest rooms of any cavern in the East. In addition to the caverns, other activities to be enjoyed while at the park are hiking, picnicking, swimming (seasonal) and mini golf (seasonal). Be sure to call to make your group's reservation!
