New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Children age 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All prior age restrictions are waived if attending classes or special events.

The center has two floors with 14,000 square feet on each floor. The lower level is an indoor baseball / softball training area (batting cages, pitching areas etc.) referred to as the Strike Zone. This area is used by the Broadway / Timberville Little League. The upper level consists of an activity room with pool tables, ping pong table, bumper pool tables, air hockey, selected video and pinball games and a seating area for gatherings. There are also three meeting rooms, multi purpose room with two shuffleboard courts and a double kitchen for use. The Broadway / Timberville Chamber of Commerce has an office at the center. A Senior Center operated by the Valley Program for Aging Services is currently leasing a room. One full time and four part time employees staff the center. The center is open seven days a week. This eight-acre area was formerly the Bergton Elementary School. The Recreation Department became responsible for this facility on August 1, 1988. The outside area consists of playground equipment, paved asphalt area for basketball, softball field, walking track, picnic tables, picnic shelters and horseshoe pits. The building consists of a fully equipped kitchen, an all-purpose room with stage, restrooms, and seven former classrooms. A mini-library, which is an extension of the Massanutten Regional Library, is operating in one of the rooms. Another room is being used for a weight and exercise area.
