Mission Statement
The mission of the Voter Registrar’s Office is to:
- Provide equal opportunity for all qualified citizens of Rockingham County to register to vote
- Maintain accurate voter records used in elections
- Conduct all elections at the highest level of professional standards, ensuring public confidence in the integrity of the results
- Be an information resource for citizens regarding voter registration, absentee voting, elections, and elected officials
2013 Election News
NEXT ROCKINGHAM ELECTION - JUNE 11: A state-wide Democratic Primary has been called for the offices of Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General. Also, three Rockingham precincts, Lacey Spring, Tenth Legion and Plains, will join the 15th House of Delegate district in a Republican primary. Sample ballots are now available to view. LAST DAY TO REGISTER OR CHANGE ADDRESS IS MONDAY, MAY 20.
NOVEMBER GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 5: Rockingham County will join the Commonwealth in voting for our next Governor, Lieutenant Governer and Attorney General. Also on the ballot will be state House of Delegate districts. Local county offices on this year's ballot will be Board of Supervisor members in districts 1 and 3 and School Board members in districts 1 and 3. Register to Vote
Visit the Register to Vote page for instructions on how to register, change your address or name, download the registration application, and view registration deadlines. Registration will close from Tuesday, May 21 and June 11 in preparation for the Democratic and Republican primary scheduled for June 11.
